How much time could you spend on the server in an average week?:
Twelve to Eighteen hours a week. Currently my job's hours allow me to have time before and after my shift to be on the server.
What values would you add to the team? (175 words minimum):
I am generally relaxed so I take any scenario as such, No reason to escalate them to a level at which they don't require. With my prior experience from many servers I do understand when it is time to get serious and stay serious. I try my best to be fair with my judgements or punishments that are dished out while also giving someone plenty of warnings before-hand. I will bring plenty of creative ideas from events or miniscule stuff such as possible crates or jobs to be added to the server. One idea I have brought up and I think would be great is expanding the punishments for rule breakers, That way instead of just kicking or banning them, Instead we give them creative punishments such as blurring their vision or turning them into a ghost were they cannot interact with players for a certain amount of time.
I often find myself gravitating towards newer players, A big thing is ensuring that they have a kickstart to the server which gives a higher chance that they stay. When I first joined I was immediately greeted by Siverse and we just talked away, That alone was enough to get me to stay. This is definitely a great way to get players more interested in staying on the server, Which I myself would like to parrot due to it's effectiveness.
The biggest part of staffing to me is ensuring the general environment for the players flows well and doesn't have any halts that could be caused by bugs, Other players disrupting the fun, Or even any questions that may have been asked. If this environment is disrupted then it could cause a player to want to leave the server or generally find less enjoyment which is something that shouldn't occur. A good balance of this is trying to get the rulebreakers back to the good side and playing on the server like a regular person but also giving out the necessary punishments without appearing too overbearing.
Adding to what I have previously stated, After inquiring about an event coordinator position I was offered the role. I figure I could add that to the belt as well as working as a staff member. I already have ideas for events to run for the players and I would love to create events for the players to enjoy, Keeping them on the server for longer and even enjoying it rather than resorting to the monotonous drag that occurs on most servers. Of course on my down time of not running events, This could be when I run the role as a staff member.
Why do you want to be staff? (175 words minimum):
I want to be staff on this server for several reasons. Firstly, I thoroughly enjoy the server itself, A big part of this is the well-balanced economy. It creates a dynamic environment that encourages growth and engagement among players, Which is something I always look for in any servers I may join. Additionally, The general player base is not only friendly but also genuinely enjoyable to interact with. The general positivity and enthusiasm contribute significantly to the overall atmosphere of the server. Even if the majority of gmod players may be total brainlets, They are mostly enjoyable to talk to. I spoke with someone who came to the server the morning of me posting this application, He told me that he had come from a troller's video who had painted the server in a negative light. It was clear that this person though of the server and the members of staff negatively and just by simply talking to him, Siverse, (Arc?), And I had changed his view of the server. I think that is a great thing to see and it definitely irons out the fact that most people are enjoyable to talk with.
To add to this, I have had firsthand experience with the effectiveness of the current staff members. Despite encountering a few issues in-game, I was definitely pleased to see how quickly and efficiently they addressed them without significantly disrupting my gameplay. The general speed and communicative skills of the current staff team is pretty good in my eyes, And I would definitely like to add to this team. In adding to this I would like to also be the first event coordinator, If that happens to work out. On top of helping players where needed I can fill in some down-time by running events and hopefully gather more players onto the server.
Finally, I am very big on helping newer players feel welcomed and supported on the server. Just as I was greeted by Siverse when I first joined, I believe in extending that same level of greeting to others, As it significantly increases the likelihood of them staying and becoming known members of the community. On the day we had around 20 people join for somebody's birthday I helped them to learn how DarkRP works and I have seen a few of them on in the coming days, I think that extending the hand to new players could even be enough to keep them around and most importantly, Enjoy their time.

There isn't too much to me, I'm Gloop made from a Chicken. I've been around for eighteen years and have been through some bad stuff, I've been through some good stuff. I try to keep myself generally laid back, There's no reason to be serious about every little thing, Every single day, Every second of the day. I've got a cat named Pig and he is definitely my favorite thing on planet Earth.
I'm currently working on my Fire Science degree to be fully hired as a firefighter, With my current side job being a carwash as a heavy machinery operator. On my off time I like to play games or hang out with my couple of friends, Usually will end up playing games. Garry's Mod has been in my life for as long as I can remember through people such as Vanoss or when I had a computer during my elementary years. I am generally outgoing as even though I'm essentially a neet, I would prefer to not spend every single day in my room on my computer. I'll almost always instantly respond to a message if I am messaged, Be it on discord or even though email. I try my absolute best to be attentive to any notifications I have, For better or for worse.
